Frequently asked
▸What is Facebook's recommended image size?
1200×630 pixels is the official Facebook recommendation for shared links and Open Graph images. It also works as a high-quality post image. (For Page covers Facebook recommends 820×312 — use our Image Resizer for that one.)
▸Does this work for Open Graph (og:image)?
Yes — 1200×630 is exactly the Open Graph spec recommendation. Set the resulting JPG as your og:image and your shares will look perfect on Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack, and most other platforms.
▸Why does my Facebook post look blurry?
Usually because the image was either too small (under 600px wide) or in a weird aspect ratio that FB then scaled. Properly sizing it to 1200×630 first is the fix.
▸What about Facebook Stories or Reels?
Stories and Reels use 1080×1920 portrait. Use our Image Resizer with the Instagram Story preset (it works for both IG and FB Stories — same dimensions).
▸Will my photo be cropped?
Yes — to fit a 1200×630 frame from a non-matching aspect ratio, we center-crop. Important subjects should be near the middle of your photo. Use the full Image Resizer if you need finer control.
