Google recommends 720×720 minimum (square) for cover, profile, and post photos. Larger square photos work too, but 720×720 strikes the best size/quality balance — small enough to upload fast, large enough to look sharp.
▸What about cover photos and post photos?
Both work well at 720×720 square. Google crops cover photos to a banner shape automatically. For posts, square format is what GBP displays in search results.
▸Why do my GBP photos look blurry?
Usually because the source was uploaded too small (under 250×250) and Google scaled it up. Always upload at the full 720×720 (or larger) for crisp display.
▸Can I add my logo or watermark?
