▸What dimensions does Instagram actually use?

Instagram displays square feed posts at 1080×1080 pixels. If you upload something larger, IG silently downsizes it; smaller and it gets stretched and pixelated. 1080×1080 is the sweet spot.

▸Can I get other Instagram sizes (story, reel)?

▸Will faces or important parts get cropped out?

We center-crop, which works for most photos because subjects tend to be centered. If your subject is off-center, use the full Image Resizer with "Fit inside" mode to preserve the entire image (with letterboxing).

▸Does Instagram strip my image quality?

IG re-compresses uploads. Starting from a clean, properly-sized 1080×1080 JPG (like this tool produces) gives you the best result IG will allow.
